Privacy Policy & Data Transparency

Effective date: September 15, 2026  ·  Governing law: California, USA

Core Guarantee: Tool input is processed locally in your browser. QuikTech does not receive or server-store your tool input, files, tokens, or outputs. Zero computation payload leaves your device.

Overview

QuikTech Developer Tools ("QuikTech", "we", "us") is a local-first developer utility platform hosted at quiktech.app. This document explains what data stays on your device, what minimal aggregate telemetry is gathered, and how your privacy is protected under California law (CCPA) and international standards.

Information Architecture & Processing

Tool Input & Output Data — We have zero access to anything you enter into the tools. Whether you paste a confidential JWT, proprietary JSON payload, regular expression, or file to hash, all transformations execute inside your browser runtime via Web Crypto, native string APIs, and bundled client-side libraries.

Browser Local Storage (Non-Sensitive Tools) — For user convenience across reloads, non-sensitive tools (such as JSON Formatter or Color Converter) may save your recent input to your browser's local storage under namespaced keys (qt:input:*). This data exists solely on your physical device. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings or using the tool's "Clear" button.

Zero Persistence Policy (Sensitive Tools) — Sensitive tools (such as the JWT Decoder) strictly enforce memory-only execution. Inputs to sensitive tools are never written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, or URL query parameters.

Analytics Telemetry (Consent-Gated) — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (Measurement ID: G-V6D0DFG4CS) strictly to observe aggregate usage and discover broken user flows. GA4 is initialized with Google Consent Mode v2 defaulting to denied. No tracking cookies are placed unless you explicitly click "Accept Analytics".

Third-Party Services & Self-Hosting

To maximize privacy and offline reliability, QuikTech has eliminated external third-party script CDNs:

Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)

Because we do not collect or store user accounts, identities, or tool contents, we hold no personal data associated with your work. You have the right to opt out of analytics tracking at any time using our cookie preferences toggle below or via browser ad/tracker blockers.
